Baby walker recall over stairs risk
The Playpals 3-in-1 baby walker (SKU KID1029) is being recalled because it does not meet the mandatory standard for baby walkers. It does not meet the performance requirements to stop it falling down stairs, and there is a risk of serious injury or death if it tips over and the baby falls.
It was sold nationally and online between 4 July 2025 and 7 October 2026, through eBay and the Kogan, Big W, Kmart and Harvey Norman marketplaces and Lasoo. Stop using it straight away, keep it out of reach of children, and contact Sun Yee International on 03 9369 8588 (9am to 5pm AEDT, Monday to Friday) or at sales@sunyee.com.au for a free compliant replacement or a full refund. The recall number is 2026/21070.
Pull toy recall over choking risk
The Montessori UFO Pull & Pop toy (brand Manmi Top, model MT033516) is being recalled by The Laughing Koala. The silicone pull strings are too long and can reach the back of a child’s throat, and small parts can detach, so there is a risk of choking or asphyxiation. It was sold online through The Laughing Koala website between 8 November 2024 and 21 July 2026.
Stop using the toy and keep it away from children. To get a full refund, cut the pull strings, take a photo of the toy, then throw it out with household waste. Email the photo and your order details to thelaughingkoala@hotmail.com. The recall number is 2026/21082.
