CEREMONY NOTICE

Legal practitioners and members of the public are advised that a Swearing-in Ceremony will be held for the Honourable Justice Thomas Joseph Bradley who will be sworn in as a Judge of Appeal, and His Honour Judge Paul Edward Smith, who will be sworn in as a Judge of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Queensland, in the Banco Court, Level 3 on Wednesday, 2 April 2025 at 9.15am.

This ceremony will be videostreamed from the Banco Court to Court 1, Level 4 at 9:15AM on Wednesday, 2 April 2025.

SUPREME COURT APPLICATION DAYS: 4 APRIL 2025, 30 MAY 2025, 20 JUNE 2025 and 11 JULY 2025.SUPREME COURT ADMISSIONS DATES:4 APRIL 2025 and 20 JUNE 2025. APPLICATION MORNINGS EACH WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY SUPREME COURT IS SITTING IN CAIRNS. DISTRICT COURT APPLICATIONS DAYS WITH APPEALS & P & E: 4 APRIL 2025, 2 MAY 2025, 6 JUNE 2025, 17 JULY 2025, 8 AUGUST 2025, 29 AUGUST 2025, 10 OCTOBER 2025, 24 OCTOBER 2025 and 21 NOVEMBER 2025.

JURY INFORMATION
Panel F jurors numbered 1-60 inclusive are required at 9AM today for jury service. Please attend level 3 of the Cairns Courthouse.

All other Panel F jurors should continue to check this message daily, and attend when your number is within the range called.
