Police now say that five more teenage boys are wanted over the stabbing of a 15-year-old outside LaSalle Catholic College.
It’s now been confirmed by Superintendent Adam Johnson that two boys had a disagreement over a girl, but the victim is now in a stable condition.
“Some bad decision-making has ended in dire consequences,” he said.
Authorities say they have identified several of the wanted teenagers but are urging them to hand themselves into Bankstown Police.

Five teenagers have been arrested after allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old boy outside his school in Bankstown, Western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Chapel Road at 3:15pm yesterday after it was reported a boy had been stabbed.
The incident, which is believed to have happened outside LaSalle Catholic College left the boy with lacerations to his back, while two other teenagers were also treated for stab wounds.
They suffered lacerations to the thigh as well as swelling and bruising to the face.
According to NSW Police, several people fled the scene before emergency services arrived and according to NT News the teenagers were stabbed after refusing to give money to the accused, who were not from their school.
Police established a crime scene and opened an investigation which led to several arrests later that day.
Two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were arrested at 5:30pm in Greenacre while another two were arrested at 7:20pm in Yagoona.
A fifth person- aged 15- was arrested at 8:30pm in Bankstown.
The group of boys were taken to Bankstown Police Station where they were all charged with reckless wounding in company and affray.
Officials say that the teenagers were refused bail and will appear in a Children’s Court sometime today.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward while the inquiry continues into the incident.
