Democracysauage.org provides a detailed map of where you can do your voting duty and get a sausage sizzle on the side. On their website they said, “it’s practically part of the Australian Constitution” and have crowdsourced their data from social media platforms and polling booth workers to provide Aussies with the ultimate map.
However, for those who can’t have a democracy sausage the map does highlight alternative options.
Several places around the country are providing cake stalls, vegetarian options, halal and even bacon and egg rolls plus sandwiches to ensure everyone can get into the democratic spirit. A symbol for coffee is also featured on the map because no doubt there will be many of us hitting the booths early to avoid lengthy queues.
This website according to the creators isn’t biased to any political parties stating that “Democracy Sausage is 100% non-partisan, organic, hormone free and grass fed”.

For those Aussies who are overseas, don’t worry, several places around the globe will also be providing the tradition. If you’re in London, Berlin, San Francisco, New York, or Port Moresby plus a few other places you can head on down to the Australian Embassy or Consulate-General and partake in the festivities.
Here’s a few tweets to see how Aussies are getting their democracy sausage on in Australia and around the world.
