Recording artist Harry Styles has announced his stadium tour dates for Australia and New Zealand with concerts set for early next year.
Originally the British singer was to tour in November of 2020 however his visit was postponed due to COVID-19. Now he has released new dates, upgrading his concerts from venues to stadiums.
He’ll start the “Love on Tour 2023” on February 20, 2023, in Perth before moving to Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Sydney and then across the ditch to Auckland to finish off the last leg. Exact dates are below.
February 20 – HBF Park, Perth
February 24– Marvel Stadium, Melbourne
February 28– Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast
March 4 – Accor Stadium, Sydney
March 7 – Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland
Wet Leg has been announced as the special guest with the British Indie rock band tweeting “ going on tour with our friend @Harry_Styles”. It is expected Styles will play to almost 270,000 people over the course of his stay with the Accor Stadium in Sydney holding up to 100,000 patrons on its own.
The famed One Direction member has been busy lately. He capped off a successful performance at Coachella where he invited good friend and 90s icon Shania Twain to join him on stage for a duet of some of her most popular songs.
His new album entitled “Harry’s House” will be released on May 20 with hit single from the record “As it Was” already having skyrocketed to No.1 around the world. 13 songs are expected to be released with social media users seemingly unable to contain their excitement.
Twitter user @brianshort used the platform for a PSA saying “the love on tour shows are for Australia and New Zealand fans ONLY. If you’re in the US or Europe, stay HOME. Don’t buy a plane ticket. Don’t overthink it. You will not die if you stay home or miss a show. Looking @ u LA b****es”. While @Jess_Adams seemed to enjoy the idea saying, “the way I am seriously considering flying out to Australia to see Harry Styles on tour”.
