It’s something that needs to be seen to be believed but artist Rajacenna van Dam can create multiple pieces of artwork by using each hand and foot.
The 29-year-old from Rotterdam has mastered the art of being quadri-dextrous, utilizing her incredible ability to create ultra-realistic portraits of celebrities.
In the video posted to YouTube, she can be seen drawing six portraits at the same time, four using her hands and two using her feet. She created portraits of Bella Poarch, Harry Potter, Billie Eilish, Wonder Woman, Shakira, and Angelina Jolie.
“I love to challenge myself so I thought why not try for the first time painting with my feet while drawing in a realistic way [and] upside down and also one drawing in 3D,” she said.
According to her website she discovered at the age of 16 that she was one of the world’s best hyper-realistic pencil drawing artists, however only discovered her quadri-dextrous abilities in the past few years.
“In 2019 the idea came to me to be more productive because I didn’t make any artwork for the previous years due to health issues. I didn’t practise it at all and just started doing it.”
It’s alleged her ability can be attributed to her “superhuman brain activity” which was analysed for a popular German TV show by Neurofeedback CEO and EEG expert Bill Scott.
She claims that “The connectivity between the left and right brain are totally connected and three times higher than normal.”
According to Bill Scott her brain showed an Einstein brain signature and the highest brain peak performance ever measured.
“[She’s an extraordinary human being; she have a very exceptional brain,” said Mr Scott.
“I have never seen this before in anyone’s brain.”
It can take up to 40 hours for her to complete the artwork using the quadri-dextrous method.
