It’s been reported that Prince Harry will be allowed to wear his military uniform in an upcoming vigil for The Queen.
The Duke of Sussex has previously not been allowed to wear it throughout earlier events following Her Majesty’s death.
In the procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall he wore a suit while his family including his brother Prince William, father King Charles III and aunt Princess Anne were all adorned in their uniform.
Harry was also made to bow instead of giving a military salute.
After his decision to step away from the royal family, stopping his work as a senior royal, he was no longer allowed to wear the uniform despite having served years in the British military where he rose to the rank of Captain.
But a recent decision from Buckingham Palace has seen this rule overturned and Prince Harry will reportedly be granted an exemption for the upcoming vigil.
In Sandringham, Manchester and Glasgow today, members of The Royal Family were able to meet members of the public and see some of the many tributes which have been left in memory of Her Majesty The Queen.

It also comes as reports say that his uncle Prince Andrew will also be given an exemption to wear his military uniform despite being stripped of his titles and ranks after his involvement with Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
The vigil will be held on Saturday September 17 with Her Majesty’s eight grandchildren to pay a special tribute to their grandmother.
It’s been reported by The Mirror that they will stand around her coffin for 15 minutes and pay their respects, although this has not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
The Queen will have her funeral on Monday September 19 and will be buried together with her husband of 75 years Prince Phillip.
She will also lay rest next to her parents King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
