Love your craft and you live around or near Redcliffe in northern Brisbane?
Redcliffe Library will play host to a Craftival (a one-day event) on Saturday, May 31, catering for the seasoned and novice artisan – and the curious.
Craftival will feature talks, live demonstrations, hands-on workshops and a pop-up marketplace brimming with local handmade treasures.
Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery says it is a day to find inspiration or have fun.
“This event brings people together to share their passion, learn new skills, and support local artisans,” he says.
“City of Moreton Bay is proud to produce events like Craftival, which not only spark inspiration but also contribute to our thriving creative economy.
“It is wonderful to see our libraries transforming into dynamic hubs of art and innovation.”
Entry is free. The day runs from 9am-2pm at Redcliffe Library, 476 Oxley Avenue, Redcliffe.
