The Queen’s body has arrived at Westminster Hall following a procession from Buckingham Palace under the care of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery and Grenadier Guards.
For four days, Her Majesty’s body will now lay-in-state where members of the public can come and pay their respects.
The journey took 38 minutes with the procession beginning at 2:22pm local time. Behind her coffin, walked her children King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Prince Andrew.
Her grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry also followed behind with their wives and the Queen Consort having followed the procession in a car.
The Queen’s coffin was draped in the Royal Standard Flag with the Imperial State Crown atop on a purple cushion surrounded by a wreath of white flowers.
Her coffin was made 30 years ago with English Oak from her Sandringham Estate and it’s believed it’s lined with lead.
Following the coffin on foot is the The King, Princess Royal, Duke of York and Earl of Wessex.

As she arrived at Westminster Hall, the Abbey bells rung completely muffled-something that only happens after the death of the monarch.
The Royal Family were in attendance, dressed in black with a somber look on their faces as they stood in formation behind The Queen as the service took place.
Following the service, Westminster Hall was closed for an hour before it was reponed to the public for the next four days where her coffin will be guarded 24 hours a day with a soldier at all four corners.
Guards are rotated every 20 minutes, spending 20 mins guarding the coffin and 40 minute off duty.
According to the UK government the Lying-In-State queue is approximately 4.5 km long with thousands of mourners already queuing up despite it being around 3am in London.
The first members of the public have arrived to see Queen Elizabeth II Lying-In-State.
These people have spent two nights sleeping on the street to get to the front of the queue.
