In a social media post, Elon Musk has announced that his cage fight with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be live streamed on his social media platform X (formally known as Twitter).
He also announced that all proceeds raised during the fight will be donated to veterans’ charities.

On his rival social media platform, Threads, Zuckerberg didn’t waste an opportunity to take a jab at Musk and X by saying, “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?”
The topic of a potential cage match was raised in June after it became public that Zuckerberg’s Meta was launching Threads, a direct rival to X.
Musk critised Zuckerberg, warning that the world was becoming “exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options” — before another user jokingly warned him that Zuckerberg was trained in jiu-jitsu.
I’m up for a cage match if he is lol

The next day, Zuckerberg (39) didn’t appear to hesitate as he asked Musk (52) to “send location” for the proposed fight.
Musk replied with the “Vegas Octagon”, a popular events centre in the United States for mixed martial arts (MMA) championships.
However, the Italian Government has reportedly offered the billionaire pair the option of fighting at Rome’s Colosseum—the almost 2,000-year-old stadium that once hosted deadly gladiator fights.
Musk later acknowledged that there was “some chance fight happens in Colosseum [sic]”.
Earlier today, Musk said in an X post that he was still preparing for the fight and lifting weights at work.
Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight.
Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.

Zuckerberg took another swipe at Elon Musk and his history of tweeting prematurely about actions without following through, with Zuckerberg saying “I’m ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath.”
