Two men have been charged with murder after the death of a young woman on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
25-year-old Feebie McIntosh was critically injured around 9am in Dicky Beach last Friday after a disturbance in Coolum Street whilst visiting a home.
She was taken at Caloundra Hospital (four kilometres away) shortly afterward by a 58-year-old man reportedly known to her, suffering from gunshot wounds to her head.
Ms McIntosh later died from her injuries.
Narangba man Bradley Ian Cotton, 30, was charged with her murder after being tracked down and arrested in Sippy Downs (20 minutes from Dicky Beach) at 3.30pm on Friday; he appeared in court over the weekend before being remanded in custody.
A second man, Wurtulla’s Brandon Grant, also 30, was hit with a slew of charges over the weekend following initial police inquiries: one count of murder, unlawful possession of a category A weapon, two counts of dangerous drug possession, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, and possession of tainted property.
He was arrested in Mooloolaba on Saturday.

Both men have been denied bail, with the second man to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday afternoon.
Police say that Ms McIntosh and Mr Cotton were acquainted and visited the owner of the Dicky Beach home together when the alleged incident occurred, home security footage was seized by investigators as a key piece of evidence from the forensic investigation.
“The man and woman were known to each other, however preliminary investigations suggest this is not a domestic [violence] related incident,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Both were visiting the Coolum Street address and friends of the homeowner, a woman, who has now spoken with investigators.”
The 58-year-old man who drove Ms McIntosh to hospital is assisting police with their inquiries.
