The Green Day front man told a crowd that he’d move to the UK, adding that he would “f****** renouncing my citizenship” over the US ruling.
Armstrong was performing with his band Green Day at the London Stadium as a part of the Hella Mega tour alongside Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
Speaking to thousands of people he said that “There’s too much f****** stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f****** excuse for a country” after the US Supreme Court overturned the constitutional right to abortion in the landmark 1973 case of Roe v Wade.
He went on to say “f*** the Supreme Court of America” and called the Justices who ruled in favour of the overrule “p*****”.
Armstrong appears to be serious about his decision, telling the crowd “Oh I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days”.

He wasn’t the only performer in the UK to call out the decision.
Lily Allen joined Olivia Rodrigo at Glastonbury, where they both told thousands of concert goers of their disappointment before dedicating Allen’s hit “F*** You” to the Supreme Court Justices.
“I’m also equally as heartbroken over what happened in America yesterday,” said Rodrigo.
“I’m devastated, and terrified, because so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.
“I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day they truly don’t give a s*** about freedom.”

The decision to overturn Roe v Wade means that control over abortions is given to individual states.
So far 10 states within the US have already prohibited or restricted abortions with an extra 11 expected to join that list very soon. Nine states including Indiana, North Carolina and Kansas are undecided but currently have restrictions on abortion.
California, New York, Nevada as well as Minnesota plus 17 other states will retain their rights to an abortion.
